Opening stand helps Cambrians

An opening stand of 101 runs between Charith Sandaruwan 80 and Samindu Viraj 68 helped Prince of Wales' College, Moratuwa to beat S Thomas' College, Mt Lavinia in the first innings in their inter-schools under thirteen division three cricket match played for the Ran Kekulu Trophy.

Batting first Thomians were all out for 143 runs with Amindra Serphancy and Malik Aziz scoring 41 and unbeaten 51 runs respectively.

In reply Cambrians declared at 202 for 7 and at the close Thomians were 51 for 2.
