Hastapadasana
Hastapadasana means bending back pose. There are several methods to
perform this asana. Do not bend your knees. Those who are new to the
asana will be able to perform it fully after practice.
Step 1 – Stand with your legs firmly on the ground. Spread
your arms on either side of your body. Lift your left leg and place it
on the upper portion of your right thigh. Stand in this pose for about
five seconds and breath in and out.
Step 2 – Bend forward half way. Breath in and out.
Step 3 – Try to place the fingertips of your hands on the
ground in front of you while bending forward. Keep your head facing
