Gamini Thusara murder case:
Five suspects identified

Out of ten suspects in the Gamini Thusara murder case five were
identified at an identification parade held before Colombo Additional
Magistrate Deepthi Kodituwakku.
On an application by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) who
are conducting the investigations into the killing of Gamini Thusara the
magistrate remanded the suspects till December 5.
The CID took the ten suspects, including an Inspector of Police into
custody in connection with the killing of Gamini Thusara of Nagalam
Street, Colombo on September 7, 2011 and remanded them pending the
completion of the investigations.
Senior Attorney Upali Senaratne appeared for the suspects including
the IP.
CID ASP Palitha Panamaldeniya and Chief Inspector Thisera appeared
for the prosecution. |
