Gamini Thusara murder case:
Five suspects identified
Out of ten suspects in the Gamini Thusara murder
case five were identified at an identification parade held before
Colombo Additional Magistrate Deepthi Kodituwakku. On an application
by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) who are conducting
the investigations into the killing of Gamini Thusara the magistrate
remanded the suspects till December 5.

Navy intercepts drug traffickers west of Iranative Island
The fast attack craft P 480 attached to the
Northern Naval Command arrested eight persons along with 02
kilograms of heroin and 02 vessels in the seas west of Iranative
Island on November 28. The arrest was made close to midnight with
the assistance of Inshore Patrol Craft P 157.
