Monk found dead at temple

The Chief Incumbent of Pannipitiya Indraramaya Ven. Wadduwe Indraratana Thera’s body was found on a stone slab in the temple premises yesterday morning.

The Thera’s father and a youth were at the temple at the time the body was found.

The Thera’s father found the body on a stone slab. Ven. Indraratana Thera had been an epileptic it was revealed at the inquiry. The body was removed to Kalubowila Hospital after the magistrate inquiry was over. Maharagama Police are conducting further inquiries.
