The eleventh edition of Sri Lanka's most comprehensive processed food
and packaging exhibition "Pro Foods Pro Pack Agbiz 2012" will commence
from July 6-8, 2012 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition
Centre in Colombo.
Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (Pvt) Ltd General Manager
Aasim Mukthar said Sri Lankans would have the opportunity to witness an
unparalleled experience from farm to kitchen products and services at
the next year exhibition. This would be an one stop shop where all
stakeholders from the retail and wholesale food and beverage service
sectors will be creating new connections and new business for everyone
involved.
Exhibitors will also be able to discover new innovations in food
processing, engineering and packaging services while launching new
products and generating genuine sales leads. The exhibition will
incorporate new events and organizers have created new areas of
exhibiting and new stalls.
Visitors will witness over 300 local and foreign companies showcasing
more than 1,000 new products and services. Accordingly there will be a
Halal Food Asia area to promote Halal products among the local
consumers. Pavilions for India and China, local small and medium
industries and agricultural products will also be included at the 2012
exhibition. In addition, "Pro Foods Pro Pack Agbiz 2012" will consist of
special attractions such as cooking studio, housewives cooking
competition and special hourly raffle draw and the organizers expect
more than 25,000 participants for the exhibition. |
