Army-Air Force clash in women's final

Sri Lanka Air Force entered the soccer finals in women's club championship 2011 when they defeated Sri Lanka Police Sports Club by 4-3 in penalty shoot out at CR and FC grounds on Tuesday.

The game ended at 2 goals for each team at full time. Shanika Rajapaksa scored two goals for SL Police while Kanchana Weeranga with Hasara Dilrangi netted goals for SL Air Force SC.

The Air Women will meet Sri Lanka Army SC at the same venue in the finals on November 28. The Champion Team will receive Champion Challenge trophy, medals and certificates and Runner-up team will receive the trophy, medals and certificates. Best player and best goal-keeper of the tournament will receive awards, the organizers said.
