Expolanka 'A' Cup champs

Expolanka 'A' won the Cup Championship beating Old Wesleites 'A' on the toss of a coin after the scores were level(1 all) at full time.

The ensuring penalty shoot-out (3-all) in the Austasia Indoor Sports Fiesta Futsal final worked off at Austasia indoor arena last week. Old Joes 'A' Beat Old Wesleites 'B' also on the toss of a coin for the Plate Championship as their too ended in a draw at full time. In the Bowl Championship Old Joes 'B' Beat Lyceum by 3-1.

Niran - Expo 'A' (Cup Championship Final), Sanjula Kalpa - Old Joes 'B'(Bowl Final) and Sridaran Peeris - Old Joes 'A' (Plate Final) were adjuded the players of respective games. This weekend there will see open badminton, swimming and the signature event, indoor netball.

The organizers said that 55 teams will be in action in netball, over 500 participants for swimming and a similar number for badminton.

All tournaments will be held on Saturday and Sunday with the grand finals scheduled for Sunday.
