The public can obtain information on the services of Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Colombo by dialing 1919, the Government Information Centre (GIC) said.

This is the first time that information on a hospital is available through the GIC, Lady Ridgeway Hospital Director Dr. Ratnasiri Hewage said.

The information minimize difficulties faced by patients while spending time for travelling etc. The staff of the hospital also receive benefits from this service by having less troubles while offering services to the public, Dr. Hewage said.
