'Golden Memories' fundraiser

In aid of the Lions Golden Jubilee Eye Hospital:

The grand ballroom of the Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla will be the venue for an evening of nostalgic melodies and entertainment backed by the popular band Sohan and the Experiments when Lion Ladies of District 306B2 present their find raiser 'Golden Memories' on November 27, at 7 pm.

A very interesting programme is lined up for the evening with dances by 'Creative Mesh', melodious old hits by Annesly Malewana, Keerthi Pasqual and Shanika, plus an exotic saree presentation by Priyani Collection, the latest Salwars and Men's ethnic wear by Kamsins.

Entrance and table draws, surprise spot, competitions leading to many prizes with an air ticket sponsored by the travel shop will be added attractions.

The popular evergreen Faizal Bongso will compere the event and a-sing-along with Sohan and a Baila session will add to the fun.

The Chief Guest will be the District Governor 306B2 Lion Jayantha Gunawardana and Lion Lady Shyamalee. All proceeds will be in aid of equipment for the eye hospital.
