Starry night
First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa graced the 16th Sumathi tele awards
night as the Chief Guest at the Sugathadasa Stadium recently. The awards
festival is held every year to honour the talents of artistes in the
television industry. Distinguished guests such as Senior Ministers Tissa
Vitharana and A H M Fowzie, Central Province Chief Minister Sarath
Ekanayaka, Ministers T B Ekanayaka and Felix Perera, Deputy Ministers
Nandimitra Ekanayaka and P Dayaratna also participated in the event.
Nissanka Wijeratne captured the moments of glory.
