Junior Rugby Carnival was a great success

The Junior Under 12 ten-a-side all island rugby Carnival was a great success which was staged at the Royal Sports Complex on a grand scale on November 12 and 13 which was witnessed by a large gathering of parents and rugby fans.

This was the first time that the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSAFA) organized this Colourful Rugby Carnival headed by Ranjith Chandrasekera (President SLSEFA) Sarathchandra Silva, Deputy President SLSRFA, Susantha Mendis, Secretary and N J Mudannayake, Coordinator. More than 500 participants from 35 teams from all island participated in this rugby carnival which was organized by the SLSRFA and Sponsored by the Nestle Lanka PLC. The chief guest was M Ali, Brand Manager Nestle Lanka Ltd.

It was nice to see that most of the teams performed HARKA after the matches.
