NITF blood donation

The National Insurance Trust Fund has organized a blood donation campaign on Saturday parallel to the first anniversary of President Mahinda Rajapaksa assuming duties in office for the second term and his 66 th birthday.

The blood donation campaign will be conducted at the head office of the National Insurance Trust Fund on D R Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10 on the directions of the National Insurance Trust Fund Chairman Senaka Abeygunasekara. More than 160 employees of the National Insurance Trust Fund will donate blood at the campaign which will commence at 9 am.

An all night pirith chanting will be held at the new building of the NITF at No 90 (near Technical Junction) Colombo 10 to invoke blessings to the President, the country and the people on the same day. An alms giving has been organized the following day.
