Now, the time to consume liquid milk

Fresh milk is a complete food for human healthy living. Cow milk is greatest among the natural food. Milk has very close correlation with our culture. Milk is the symbol of prosperity. The cow is fed with our natural grass and natural water and she breathes our fresh air from the environment. Therefore, milk is a wonderful food created by nature.

Hygienically processed and aseptically packed, this milk can be preserved at ambient temperature for a long period without affecting its quality and freshness.

Most Sri Lankans are used to consume milk powder. Sri Lanka spends Rs 20 billion per year in foreign exchange to import milk powder. Milk powder, generally takes around six months to reach the consumer. Therefore, its nutritional value is questionable. At present technology has been developed to process milk by heating for a short period coupled with aseptic packaging to preserve its quality and freshness.
