National Wap Magul ceremony held in Kahatagasdigiliya

The National 'Wap Magul' ceremony was held at Mahamessewa paddy field at Kahatagasdigiliya on Tuesday.

The ceremony was held following rituals and cultural events with the participation of the political authority, government officials and the people. Agrarian Services and Wildlife Minister S.M. Chandrasena was the chief guest. Minister Chandrasena said the government machinery shall work hand in hand with the farmer community which is 90 percent of the population.
