Seller of smuggled cigarettes arrested
An owner of a supermarket at Pelmadulla was
arrested by Ratnapura Excise officials for selling smuggled
cigarettes of a foreign brand. Excise officials said the cigarettes
imported illegally from Turkey were similar to a local brand and
difficult to detect.
