School Inventors’ Competition

The Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) in cooperation with the Education Ministry organizes an “All Island School Inventors’ Competition annually. This year competition will be held at the Science Faculty premises of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from December 7 and 8 concurrence with the 67th Annual Sessions of the SLAAS.

Gold, Silver, Bronze medals and merit awards will be given to the best selected inventors under the four different categories of Grades 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. All participants will receive a certificate of participation. Application forms can be obtained from the SLAAS office by sending an stamped self addressed envelop to Dr Chandana Jayaratne, the Chairman/School Inventors’ Competition Committee, Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science, 120/10, Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 07.
