UAE trade minister to visit Lanka

United Arab Emirates Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, will arrive in Colombo on November 23 on a three-day official visit amidst renewed bilateral trade efforts between the two countries, Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen said.

Minister Bathiudeen announced this at a special meeting with officials of the Department of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

Al Qasimi will be leading a trade delegation on the invitation of Minister Bathiudeen who paid a courtesy call at the Abu Dhabi's Foreign Trade office Ministry in May 2011.
