‘Innovative features in the Daily News of late’

I wish to express my appreciation on the notable innovations that have been introduced into the Daily News since of late. The new format with regard to the editorial which now appears, makes reading it much comfortable.

The broad based spread does not tire the eye unlike the former length wise columns. I always look forward to reading your editorials which give a clear picture as to which way the country’s political and economic trends are driven, while many others may find matters that interest them.

The new index that appears on top of the front page is a positive time saver, as, if one is in a hurry to read the day’s obituary notices he/she could straightaway turn to that page.

I also wish to congratulate you on the ‘Thought of the day’, appearing prominently above the day’s editorial. Thoughts do govern our every action.
