| The Muhurath ceremony of the ‘Namal
Arana’ teledrama to be telecast on a concept of the
President of the Jathika Namal Uyana Trust Parliamentarian
Namal Rajapaksa was held at the Colombo Continental Hotel
recently. Here, founder of the National Namal Uyana Ven
Wanavasi Rahula Thera lighting the oil lamp to inaugurate

| Two books titled Dinamina Siyawasaka
Mulpitu and Dinamina Siyawasaka Kathuwaru (Front Page of
Dinamina and Chief Editors of Dinamina during the past
century) were launched on Thursday at the Foundation
Institute to mark the centenary anniversary of our sister
paper, Dinamina. Veteran journalist and former Dinamina
Editor Edmund Ranasinghe and Senior Lecturer of Colombo
University Dr Dhamma Dissanayake delivered the keynote
addresses. Here Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited
Chairman Bandula Padmakumara presents the two books to Ven
Prof Kamburugamuwe Vajira Thera. Dinamina Chief Editor
Mahinda Abeysundera is also in the picture. |
