People's Bank sports festival this weekend

The golden jubilee mega sports festival organized by People's Bank Sports Club will be held at Welagedara Stadium and Maligapitiya Ground Kurunegala on October 22 and 23.

Around 3000 staff members and players representing island wide branches of People's Bank will take part in this mega sports festival which includes cricket, volleyball, netball, football and tug-o-war events.

People's Bank chairman W. Karunajeewa will be the chief guest at the meet while chief executive officer/general manager N. Vasantha Kumar will be the guest of honor.

The opening ceremony will be start at 1.00 p.m. on October 22 and the awards ceremony will be held on the evening of following day.
