Sacred Relics exposition in Kandy

The Sacred Hair Relics of the Buddha brought down from Bangladesh by President Mahinda Rajapaksa concurrent to the 2600th Sri Sambuddhatva Jayanthi will be deposited at the Asgiriya Sri Vijayasundararama Purana Viharaya, Kandy for a two day public exposition on October 25 and 26.

The exposition will be held under the patronage of Most Ven Udugama Sri Buddharakhita Mahanayaka Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter,

and the participation of Mass Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayaka, said a press release by the Government Information Department.
