Two victories for Sri Sumangala

Sri Sumangala College, Panadura registered two consecutive wins against Siddartha M.M.V., Sedawatta and Dhammissara Vidyalaya, Nattandiya in the under 15 division III Cricket Tournament recently.

Sumangala lads scored 317/9 in 48 overs at their home grounds against Siddartha MMV consist of three half tons from Kethmina Keminda (61), Sachin Dilshan (53), Mewan Dewanjith (52). In contrast Siddartha batsmen never able to put up resistance as they were removed for just 15 runs in 8.3 overs.

Meanwhile in another match at the same venue, Sri Sumangala College posted a five wicket victory against Dhammissara Vidyalaya. Dhammissara team batted first and put up a 220 total for all out in 50 overs. Urishka Anjana added 53 runs while Chesura Rathnayaka contributed with 22. Winners reached the target in 41.2 overs.
