Ranuli takes on Andrea

The second 22nd Junior National Squash Championship worked off for
the second day at the Tamil Union Cricket Club squash complex yesterday
with girls and boys under 11, under-15 and under-19 events. The novices
tournament events for under-15 girls/boys and under-19 girls were also
played yesterday. The tournament commenced on October 17 and will
continue till October 23 at the same venue.
Three girls events have reached the semi-final stage where the
under-9 semis are scheduled on October 19 at 4.00 pm. Ranuli
Wimalarathna will meet Andrea Halaldeen in the first semi-final while
Lisumi Rasanga will battle against Dewmini Gallage in the other. The
under-17 first semi-final will be between Raveena Sumathipala and
Dulakshi Elikawala while the other will see Mihiliya Methsarani takes on
Gayara Jayasuriya on October 20 at 5.00 pm. The under-19 girls
semi-finals will battle out on October 21 at 5.00 pm between Nadhini
Udangawa versus Raveena Sumathipala and Dulakshi Elikawala versus Gayara
Jayasuriya.
