Two books to mark Dinamina centenary

Two books titled Dinamina Siyawasaka Mulpitu and Dinamina Siyawasaka Kathuwaru (first pages of Dinamina and Chief editors of Dinamina during the past century) will be launched at 3.30 pm today at the Foundation Institute to mark the centenary anniversary of our sister paper, Dinamina under the patronage of Vice Chancellor of Kelaniya University and chief Sanganayake of Colombo and Chilaw Ven Dr Welamitiyawe Kusaladhamma Thera.

Veteran journalist and former Dinamina Editor Edmund Ranasinghe and Senior Lecturer of Colombo University Dr Dhamma Dissanayake will be the keynote speakers.

Chairman of Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited Bandula Padmakumara, Editorial Director Seelarathna Senarath, Chief Editor of Dinamina Mahinda Abeysundera are expected to address the launch.

The two books were compiled by Dinamina Associate Editor Sampath Dippitigoda and Nawayugaya Editor Indika Kudahetty.
