Wijetilleke receives international award
Nalin Wijetilleke, a veteran professional in business continuity and
disaster recovery management received the Business Continuity Institute
(BCI) Asia Award 2011 in Singapore.
Based on the nominations received from BC professionals in all Asian
and Asia-Pacific including Middle East countries, they were rigorously
assessed, for this prestigious award. Wijetilleke is an alumnus of St
Aloysius College, Galle and the Postgraduate Institute of Management -
Sri Jayewardenepura University, and holds many professional
certifications.
Till recently, he was the Business Continuity Management Head RAKBANK
- a United Arab Emirates based large Bank, where he pioneered the
implementation and gaining certificate of compliance of Business
Continuity Management standards - BS25999 and was the first organization
to be certified in the Middle East and Africa.
A frequent contributor to various professional journals, Wijetilleke
is currently pursuing his doctorate with the Oulu University, Finland. |
