Signis at BMICH tonight

The 35th Signis (OCIC - UBDA) Salutation Festival will be held at BMICH on October 14 from 6 pm. The Chief Guest of the event will be his Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith.

All the Sri Lankan Sinhala films screened in year 2010 and serialized teledramas not exceeding 55 episodes are included in the festival.

New categories have been added to the awards line up. These include single episode teledrama, documentry, short film, song visuals, TV commercial, credit title and trailer. So me cultural items will also be showcased at the event.

Ceylon Continental Hotel transformed into a fun filled giant play house last Sunday between 11:30am to 2:30pm. ‘Kiddies Guzzle’ at Sunday brunch provided the ideal opportunity for children of all ages to have some fun. With celebrations of the world Children’s Day, Aunty Sybil’s storytelling along with Barney and Elmo created the perfect entertainment for the little ones.Wettasinghe’s popular book ‘Palingu’ was also distributed to all the children participated at the Sunday Brunch.

The kiddies were specially treated to an exclusive ‘kiddies’ buffet’,where they were indulged in their very own buffet spread. An unlimited flow of soft drinks was an added benefit for all the guests at ‘Kiddies Guzzle’. In addition to the cuisine, there were competitions;

music and a fun filled afternoon with Elmo and Barney. Usage to the swimming pool was on offer for all the buffet guests.

Sunday Brunch is a regular promotion happening at the Emerald Restaurant on every Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Mr BEAN to perform at FRANCO KIDS CLUB Evening

An Evening with Mr BEAN (Prasad Galappatti) is being organised for Members of the FRANCO KIDS CLUB at Alliance Française DE COLOMBO. No 11, Barnes Place, Colombo 7 tomorrow, October 15 from 4 to 5 .15 p.m.

In addition there will also be two other Talented Young Musicians Master Malin de Silva and Master Pranar Aswin who will entertain Kids/Children with their wonderful singing.

Mr BEAN (Prasad Galappatti ) was crowned as the Shadow Star by Shadow Star competition organised by Swarnavahini.
