Anything.lk CEO Riza Zarook told Daily News Business that the idea to start a business such as this came two years ago in Chicago, USA by Groupon.

It came to Sri Lanka with a significant investment three months ago and during this short time many others also have got into this business.

They recently launched their reward points scheme for deals. Accordingly anything.lk customers will earn one credit for every Rs 100 spent on anything.lk offers.

Zarook has employed a young and energetic team comprising 28 members to work on daily deals round the clock. He said there is no cost to merchants for advertising as anything.lk does it for them.

“Sri Lanka Businessmen are slowly recognizing social media strategies are important to acquire and retain a new generation of customers.
