Clifford Richards live in concert
To raise funds for renovation of the main building in time for the
college's 80th anniversary, the past pupils of Mahamaya Girls' College,
Kandy living in Colombo, gathered together to form the Colombo Branch of
the Past Pupils' Association 27 Years ago with the aim of rejuvenating
the friendships fostered in school and to be of some service to our
school as well as the society at large.
They have raised funds for innumerable charitable activities
including the Nephrology and Renal Transplant Unit of the Kandy General
Hospital. This year, it will be to concentrate on raising funds to
renovate the school's Main Building, which is known as the 'Identity' of
the school, in time for the school's 80th Anniversary.
The concert will take place at the Grand Ballroom of Waters Edge on
October 23 from 7 pm. to 9.30.
