Foundation laid for new building

The foundation stone laying for a four-storeyed building at Kilinochchi in commemoration of the 50th year of Kilinochchi People's Bank branch took place on September 22 by General Manager N Vasantakumar.

On the same day the General Manager opened a service centre built at a cost of Rs 9 million. Vanni District Manager Ranjit Kodithuwakku, Additional Government Agent S Srini Vasan, Officer in Charge of Police Station Saliya Silva and Hindu Buddhist religious leaders were present at the ceremonies.
