Entries call for Tibhar TT Championship

The seventh Tibhar All Island Novices/Intermediate Table Tennis Championships will be worked off on October 22 and 23 at the S. Thomas' College Indoor Stadium, Mt. Lavinia. The tournament known to be one of the most popular event among the school TT fraternity has opened the doors to many a budding school peddlers to showcase their talents over the past six years.

The girls and boys events will be conducted in the U-8,U-10,U-12,U-15 and U-18 age group categories. Apart from age group events there will be four events for intermediate and novice men and women.

An individual player will be eligible to take part in three age group events and two open events. In the last year's tournament Krishan Wickramarathna of Vidyartha College, Kandy and Kithmadie Ranawaka of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo won the most outstanding boys and girls awards respectively.

Entries will close on September 24 and the draw will be held on October 8.
