Anything.lk hits 50,000 facebook fans

Launches Rewards Points:

In what surely has to be fastest for a start-up company in Sri Lanka, Anything.lk continues to break barriers and recently hit 50,000 facebook Fans.

"Just to be sure that Anything.lk fans continue patronage of the Number 1 daily deals website, Anything.lk launched their own Rewards Points Scheme. For deals launched from September 19 onwards, Anything.lk customers will earn 1 (one) Anything.lk credit for every Rs. 100 spent on Anything.lk offers. Each Anything.lk credit is worth Rs.1 and can be redeemed against any Anything.lk offer in the future", a company spokesman said.

Anything.lk, CEO Reeza Zarook said "We are very happy and grateful to our loyal customer base that they have helped make Anything.lk the undisputed number 1 daily deals site in Sri Lanka. Testimony to that statement are the 50,000 facebook fans that we have gained since the June 6 launch. We wanted to reward our customers in some way, and the launch of our very own Rewards Scheme is a small thank you to our customers - but one that will continue for the foreseeable future."

Anything.lk, COO Safraz Careem said "The business model has been proven to be very successful so far, and we are now the 80th most accessed site from within of Sri Lanka (and 25th most popular Sri Lankan site). We recently looked at the profile of our top customers and were delighted to know that we have whole families that spend on the site. So much so, that in honour of reaching the 50,000 facebook fan mark, not only have we launched Rewards for all customers, but the top family customer will be given over Rs. 50,000 of vouchers from our merchants."

Zarook said "Anything.lk is slowly making its mark among businesses as being both the social media marketing tool for Sri Lanka as well as a credible and valuable media source in its own right. We have the widest range of businesses that have used Anything.lk and the list grows daily. I believe that businesses are slowly but surely recognizing that social media strategies are important to acquire and retain a new generation of customers and that these customers are able and willing to become returning customers."

Jeggan Rajendram said, "Anything.lk has the ability to reach a large number of people daily directly and therefore represents a unique access portal for Sri Lankan businesses and clients. There are few other companies that can offer direct access, and almost no other business that can show direct Return on Investment (ROI) for a marketing tactic in such a short time."
