Favourites Korea breezed past weaker and less experienced opponent
Sri Lanka in straight sets in only 53 minutes in a Pool D match of the
Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship in Taiwan on Thursday.

Young with 8 and 23 year old Kim Yeon Koung and Han Song Yi with seven a
piece. Sri Lanka were led by Dinesha Jayamaha (seven points) and Leena
Somaratne (4).

continued to impress the spectators with their all-round skills. They
claimed the second set 25-11 and the third at 25-6, and won the game
3-0. YG |
