St. Servatius enter semi-finals

St. Servatius College, Matara cruised to the semi-finals of the Under 15 division two cricket tournament defeating Mahanama College 'B' by seven wickets at Moratu Vidyalaya grounds on Wednesday.

Mahanama were skittled out for 68 runs in 29.5 overs with Pamod Weerasekera taking 3 wickets for 17 runs.

Ashen Deemantha bowled extremely well to conceed only nine runs in the nine overs he delivered and claimed two wickets in the process.

Kanishka Gimhana top scored with 13.

St. Servatius skipper Lochana Mohotti took his team to victory with an unbeaten 24 with seven wickets in hand in just 20.2 overs.

St. Servtius will meet Royal 'B' at the BRC grounds on September 16 (Friday) in the semi-finals.
