Chinese buyers record US $ 3 m business:

The recently concluded FACETS Sri Lanka 2011 exhibition has been very successful with entrepreneurs sealing deals of over US $ 10 million during the four day event held at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre in Colombo last week.

Customs set to open Rs 7 billion HQ

Sri Lanka Customs headquarters built near the Charmer’s jetty in Colombo Fort with one side bordering the Beira Lake will be opened next month taking imports and exports to a new level in Sri Lanka. The government has invested Rs seven billion for the new building.
