Kannangara Vidyalaya into Bowl final

C.W.W. Kannangara Vidyalaya beat Lumbini Vidyalaya 29-00 (5 tries, 2 conversions) in the under-18 Asian Finance Trophy rugby Bowl Championship semi-final match at the Havelock Sports Club grounds recently. Winners gained the control of the game from the beginning and Lumbini lads were unable to counter attack. The try scorers were Chathura Madhushan, Malka Madhushan, Dinesh Lakmal and Chamath Perera. Kannangara Vidyalaya will meet Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya in the final on september 18 at Longden Place.

The tournament has been organized by the Western Province Rugby Football Union and commenced on August 23.
