Condition of eateries questioned

The unhygienic conditions in certain hotels and eating houses functioning near the Nagoda General Hospital which lacked toilet facilities for the public, figured prominently at a meeting of the Kalutara Pradeshiya Sabha held recently.

Pradeshiya Sabha member Frank Wasantha de Silva who raised the issue said the Council should take steps to close down these places if owners failed to provide clean toilets for the use of its customers.
