Cricket tourney at Matara

A cricket tournament and a football tournament will be held at the Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara on Saturday the 10th of September.

The friendly tournaments will be between a team selected from 500 rehabilitated LTTE Youth who are touring the Southern Province and a team from the youth front of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development.

The programme has been arranged jointly by the Ministry of Prison Reforms and Rehabilitation and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development. It is expected that Ministers Chandrasiri Gajadeera and Dullas Alahapperuma will play in the cricket tournament scheduled to commence at 9.30 am.
