Valuable book on scientific explanations

Prasanna Adikari is new to the field of authoring books. His maiden
book is Vidyathmaka Hethu Pehedilikireema. Adikari is an editor at
Central Information and Media Unit of Government Information Department.
When he was a journalist at Daily Lakbima, Prasanna had opportunity
to write to children. Most scientific explanations mentioned in the
books are extracted from what he has written to children.
Simple in style, the book explains 159 events that require scientific
interpretation.
Anyone can read and understand this little book. They can have a good
experience through this book. It is also important as a supplementary
reader for schoolchildren.With pictures the author tries to provide
general and scientific events in a fresh way.
If a scientist would explain these events he will certainly use many
technical terms to describe.
The author has shown his ability to teach difficult things in simple
words.
He is not limited to one or two areas in his writings. He covers
areas such as chemistry, physics, botany, zoology, agriculture and
medicine. He reminds us the basic theories we have learnt in our initial
education.
He leads individuals to see the environment in a scientific eye. It
helps build a skilled person required for the present world. We are
short of them.
