Macro economic plans for 2012 budget

President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a series of discussions on budget 2012
held another round of discussions with officials of the Economic
Development Ministry at Temple Trees yesterday.
Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundara
explaining a detailed analysis on macro economic plans to be included in
the budget proposal, forwarded a set of proposals for the consideration
of 2012 budget.
These macro economic policies have been included in the budget
proposals aiming to make Sri Lanka to be the main emerging economy in
Asia.
Meanwhile, the President attended another discussion with the
construction field representatives to give an opportunity to the private
sector to propose suggestions for the ongoing budget 2012 at Temple
Trees yesterday.
Ministers Basil Rajapaksa, Nimal Siripala de Silva, Anura
Priyadarshana Yapa, Wimal Weerawansa, Mahinda Amaraweera and acting
Secretary to the President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa also attended the
discussion.
