Rs 500 m for Kilinochchi school reconstruction

The Korean government has agreed to provide Rs 500 million for reconstruction activities of war affected schools in the Kilinochchi district, the Education Ministry said. These allocations have been made under the Korean Educational Fund. Thirteen schools,105 classrooms, 13 activity rooms and 12 teacher quarters are to be reconstructed under these development projects.

The MoU regarding this project were recently signed between Education Ministry Secretary M.M.Gunasekara and Korea International Cooperation Agency's Permanent Agent Who Sang Moo.
