Indian Food Festival at Galadari
Savour intriguing aromas of authentic Indian delicacies at the Indian
Food Festival, as the Coffee Shop puts together an outstanding array of
tantalizing dishes from diverse regions. Portraying the rich culture and
heritage of India, the festival features two specialists' chefs from
Chennai and Goa who will put together an unparalleled combination of
dishes in terms of diversity, taste, flavour, and presentation.

With more than forty languages and roughly 1600 dialects, India is a
rich blend of culture, diversity and tradition. Reflecting this rich
diversity the best example perhaps is India's variety of regional
cooking traditions which is an ideal representation of character,
fragrance and flavour... Combining these flavours, Chefs Gersome
Jayaseelan and Saldanha Henzil works their hands at presenting a richer,
fuller mouth feel of exotic Indian delicacies giving guests an array of
delectable dishes from 5th - 11th September from 7.00 pm onwards.
Setting forth a lip smacking list of delicacies from the regions of
Awadh, Punjabi, Karnataka, Chettinad, Andra, Kerala, Bengal and Goa the
Chefs work magic creating appeal and a rich essence of flavour in all
dishes. Capturing the essence of taste, the Chefs bring out unique sense
of zest that is inherent to every region all throughout the festival.
Combining the best of India in a variety of delicacies, the master
chefs pay attention to much loved Indian sweets bringing guests a mouth
watering array of delightful desserts to complete the experience.
While diners indulged in a bountiful serving of sumptuous Indian
food, in the background, the music features duo band Mukti from India
performing an exciting mix of North Indian and Carnatic Music styles,
fused with contemporary grooves of modern India.
With a slide guitar and a tabla keeping time, the musicians will
perform a fusion of Indian music blended beautifully in genres such as
Jazz, Sufi, Latin, Folk and New Age. |
