Under 16 rugby tourney

Twenty seven teams will vie for honours at the All Island Schools Under 16 Division One Rugby Tournament organized by the Central Province Schools Rugby Football Association which will be worked off at the Bogambara Stadium, Kandy this Saturday and Sunday (August 27 and 28).

Kingswood College are the defending champions but they will receive stiff opposition from Trinity College, Royal College, St. Anthony's College, St. Peter's College, St. Thomas' College, St. Joseph's College, Dharmaraja College, Vidyartha College, St. Sylvester's College, Isipathana College, Science College, Mahanama College, Thurstan College, Ananda College, St. Benedict's College, Wesley College and Nalanda College.
