Wadduwa Central advance to quarter finals

Wadduwa Central completed their second round matches unbeaten when they beat Royal College 'B', Colombo by eight wickets to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Under-17 Division II tournament at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Wadduwa Central beat St. Sebastian's College, Katuneriya and St. Patrick's College, Jaffna in the other second round matches.

Royal 'B' 146 all out in 37.1 overs (Sarinda Malavige 52, Kaveesha Yapa 28, Gihan Sajeewa 4/32, Janindu Ishan 3/21).

Wadduwa Central 147 for 2 in 19.1 overs (Janindu Ishan 85, Gihan Sajeewa 27, Lakmal Gunathilaka 15).
