STF officers destroy the ganja seized in Thanamalwila |
The Police Special Task Force (STF) raided a ganja chena cultivated
in over one acre land in Konthotara in Thanamalwila and arrested two
suspects. The suspects were handed over to Thanamalwila Police.
Wellawaya magistrate released the suspects on bail. Thanamalwila
police are investigating. Meanwhile Koswatta Police nabbed six treasure
hunters at Mellawa Nelamwatta yesterday. The suspects were produced
before Marawila Magistrate and remanded till September 1. |
