Milinda Moragoda obtains SLFP membership

Sri Lanka National Congress leader, former Minister Milinda Moragoda obtained the membership of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday. He was accompanied by Manjula Prasanna Cooray, R M Sampath, B G Sirimal de Silva and Yamuna Ganeshalinga who also obtained SLFP membership.

Milinda Moragoda will be the UPFA candidate for the post of Colombo mayor at the upcoming Local Government election. SLFP General Secretary and Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena and Economic Development Deputy Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena were also present.
