e-VERIFILE to expand to Sri Lanka

e-VERIFILE, a leading American workforce management solutions provider, based in Atlanta, USA, (www.e-verifile.com) is expanding its global operations to Sri Lanka, capitalizing on the post-war opportunities in Sri Lanka.

Founded in 1999 by American industry veteran and entrepreneur, Ravi Wijesinghe, e-VERIFILE provides unique employee screening and administrative support solutions that streamline routine workforce, contractor/vendor, and security management processes.

e-VERIFILE.COM, Inc. specializes in developing and delivering fast, web-enabled employee screening solutions and support systems for organizations in the USA, as well as Canada, such as background checks, credit history reports, and criminal background investigations.

A premier workforce management solutions provider, e-VERIFILE offers innovative tools and resources that minimize the time it takes to complete everyday administrative tasks. The company has expanded the business to an enterprise that supports approximately 9000 clients in the USA, as well as Canada.

“It has always been my desire to make a tangible contribution to the country where I was raised. The post-war scenario in Sri Lanka offers exciting opportunities. I realize that there is a wealth of talent in Sri Lanka, especially among the youth. We believe in Sri Lanka’s future prospects and wish to empower those in the software development industry to meet the challenges of the global market while realizing their individual dreams and contributing to the economic growth of the nation,” said Wijesinghe.

For its operation in Sri Lanka, e-VERIFILE is collaborating with Rainbow Resources Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, (www.rainbow.lk) a consultancy and training company specializing in communication, project management and human resource development.

“We plan to launch our operation on a small-scale and then expand. Initially, we will select a small team of high calibre software engineers (Java) and a lead engineer to start our operation in Sri Lanka. They will be employed by our partner, Rainbow Resources Lanka. They will be provided advanced training and guided by US experts. Employees who prove themselves will also be offered further training opportunities in USA,” Wijesinghe said.

Speaking of e-VERIFILE’s local partner, Rainbow Resources Lanka, Wijesinghe said that he believes that the extensive experience and background of RRL senior management has demonstrated a commitment to help the nation succeed as it relates to all people in all walks of life and considers this to be a shared business cultural value between RRL and e-VERIFILE.

Referring to the partnership with e-VERIFILE, RRL Director Manique Mendis said: “Software development is a new challenge to our company. However it is linked to one of our core areas of specialization, Communication. As such, we see that our new venture will complement our current portfolio of services. We have a wealth of experience in working with International organizations based in USA and other countries.”
