Accidents claim two lives

Road accidents claimed two lives and injured 25 people on Monday. A pedestrian, M H Piyadasa of Kawantissapura, Thissamaharamaya who was knocked down by a motorcyclist succumbed after being adimitted to the Debarawewa hospital.

Meanwhile, another motorcyclist, Atapattu of New Town, Polonnaruwa died in the Polpithigama Hospital when his motorcycle skidded and went off the road at Thalawahera Kahatagaha Junction. A head on collision between two private buses resulted in injuries to 22 passengers and the two drivers.
