Janashakthi feted at CMO Asia Awards
Janashakthi Insurance PLC clinched top honours at the recent second
CMO Asia Awards for Excellence in branding and marketing with the "Award
for Brand Excellence" in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance
category.
The awards were hosted by the World Brand Congress and were presented
amid a large and representative gathering at a ceremony at Suntec,
Singapore.
Janashakthi also achieves the singular honour of becoming the only
Sri Lankan insurance company to be recognized in this category at the
CMO awards which were recently held for the second consecutive year and
represented by several countries across Asia spanning from Australia to
the Middle East.
It competed alongside global brands such as Adidas, Coca Cola,
Emirates, HSBC, Nestle, Nokia, Singapore Airlines, Starbucks, Google,
Master Card and Microsoft.
Janashakthi's Marketing Head Paddy Weerasekera hailed this as an
endorsement of the company's endeavour in brand building and brand
management efforts.
