New building for Galle Coop Hospital

The Galle District Co-operative Hospitals Society will construct a new seven storeyed building for the Galle Co-operative Hospital.

Galle District Cooperative Hospitals Society General Manager Charles Gamage said that the new building will consists of rooms for indoor patients and a centre to treat diabetic patients.

The society will spend Rs 1,500 million to construct the new building.

The general manager also said that the new building will be constructed before the end of the year in the premises presently being used for the wards of the co-operative hospital.
